Pricing Analyst

Cherokee Freight Lines - Pricing Analyst Cherokee Freight Lines is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for compiling and analyzing sales, pricing, and market data while providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to support our sales, operations, and pricing strategies. To be successful in this role, the Pricing Analyst should be able to analyze large amounts of data, accurately project pricing and sales trends, identify opportunities, and provide practical guidance to help optimize pricing strategies, support customer growth, and increase profitability.

Responsibilities:

Organize and prioritize RFP requests and ensure all data is uploaded, accurate, and up to date. Track customer engagement to support effective pricing strategies for products and service offerings. Analyze pricing and market trends to support increased market share and profitability. Collaborate with Sales and Operations on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies. Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to executives, operations teams, and sales staff. Manage the bid cycle, including the RFP process, awards, and rate contracting phases. Work with Operations to provide spot quotes to customers in a way that maximizes revenue. Support Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure all contract information is current and communicated efficiently. Create, analyze, and maintain pricing reports, audits, statistical analysis, and business intelligence reports. Perform other duties as assigned.

Positive attitude, strong sense of urgency, and initiative to work independently.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Pricing experience required. Customer service experience preferred. Transportation or logistics experience preferred. Advanced Excel knowledge required.

Pay:

$32.00 - $40.00 per hour
