- $96,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications) đŻ Job Summary The Pricing Analyst supports PGTI's Product Management organization by analyzing, developing, and maintaining pricing for highly configurable, customerâfacing products.
This role plays a critical part in pricing decisions related to product mix adjustments, regional factors, options and components, margin analysis, and new product introductions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, selfâmotivated, and detailâoriented, with strong Excel skills and a passion for working with numbers. Success in this role requires the ability to manage complex data, adapt to shifting priorities, and learn both the product and the systems that support pricing decisions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Analyze pricing data and develop pricing recommendations in partnership with Product Management and Sales Quantify financial and margin impacts of pricing actions, including product mix, options/components, and regional pricing considerations Maintain, validate, and enhance pricing matrices and product files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and standardization Research competitive products and conduct price comparisons against company offerings Apply causeâandâeffect analysis to determine appropriate pricing outcomes for competitive and internal products Support pricing development for new products, product modifications, and pricing rationalization initiatives Ensure pricing models are delivered accurately and on time to support product launches and updates Analyze and forecast profit and margin impacts of proposed pricing actions Design, develop, and maintain summary reports for pricing changes and requests Identify and structure product file data to support grouping, rebates, customerâspecific pricing, discounting, and profitability measurement Participate in crossâfunctional meetings to gather requirements and support pricing problemâsolving initiatives Manage multiple projects simultaneously, shifting priorities as business needs change Communicate pricing updates clearly to internal stakeholders and support internal education efforts Collaborate closely with Sales on pricing proposals and internal alignment Maintain accurate documentation and records related to pricing projects Perform other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications (Must Haves) 3-5 years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, product management, or a related field Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (nonânegotiable) , including scenario modeling and pricing matrices High proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Access preferred) Strong analytical, reasoning, and problemâsolving skills Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to think strategically while executing tactically Demonstrated ability to learn complex products, systems, and processes Ability to logically evaluate complex "whatâif" scenarios impacting pricing and product configuration Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently Ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly as business needs change Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work crossâfunctionally and build effective working relationships Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience pricing highly configurable or customizable products Familiarity with the fenestration, manufacturing, or building products industry Exposure to ERP systems such as Paradigm, Frontier, or Oracle (not required) What We Offer Our benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
