We are looking for an accomplished FP&A Manager to join a contract assignment supporting a paper and packaging business. This role will serve as a key finance partner to commercial and business leaders, helping strengthen visibility into pricing, rebates, deductions, and overall profitability. The position is designed for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can improve financial reporting, sharpen analysis, and build dependable processes that support stronger decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Review current practices tied to customer deductions, rebate activity, pricing arrangements, and related financial entries, then implement improvements that increase accuracy and consistency.
- Create dashboards, performance metrics, and recurring management reports that highlight commercial results, emerging risks, and profitability trends.
- Work closely with sales and commercial stakeholders to evaluate discounts, pricing actions, and customer programs and convert findings into practical financial guidance.
- Analyze margin performance across customers, products, and programs to help leadership understand the impact of commercial decisions.
- Design and document scalable controls and workflows that the business can maintain successfully after the contract engagement ends.
- Support finance and accounting teams with proper accruals, reconciliations, and treatment of pricing-related transactions and customer programs.
- Identify inefficient manual activities and introduce more streamlined reporting and analytical approaches.
- Provide both strategic financial insight and day-to-day oversight of commercial finance activities for the supported business segment.
