Job Description

POSITION OBJECTIVE
This position is part of the internal sales & marketing department. The role is responsible for contributing to sales maintenance and growth, primarily through generation of costing & pricing, recommendation of pricing to sales management, preparation & maintenance of quote pipelines, sales & market analysis, identification of sales gaps & opportunities, sample preparation and enthusiastic support of customers & sales team. Please note this is a 5-day a week in-office position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree preferredStrong math skills with ability to analyze numbers with detailSelf-motivated to work independently and progress projects from beginning to completionProblem solving mentality and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environmentPositive team-oriented attitude, comfortable working across departments within organizationAbility to generate and/or use sales data to identify gaps and translate promptly into actionable opportunitiesFacility to balance and support customer needs with strategic business goalsVersatility, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to evolving prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft - Excel (create simple cell formulas & navigate pivot tables), PowerPoint and WordClear, confident and professional written, listening & verbal communication skills (in-person, telephone, video-conference)Willingness to learn with openness to feedback geared toward continuous improvement and skill developmentPositive mindset with a can-do attitude towards daily activities showing enthusiasm & strong work ethicEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop comprehensive price quotes by evaluating costs, market dynamics, competitive landscape, historical data, and other relevant inputsAssess quotation requirements and gather additional information from sales team or customers as needed to ensure complete analysisSubmit pricing recommendations to sales leadership with supporting data for review and approvalDistribute finalized, accurate quotations to the sales team and/or customers in a timely mannerCoordinate and manage online bid submissionsTrack and update pipeline reports, ensuring consistent follow-up on quotes through the full sales cycleGenerate accurate monthly reports and updatesAnalyze monthly sales reports to identify gaps & uncover new opportunities, sharing insights with managementOrganize and maintain sample inventories, including assembling sample kits and supply packagesParticipate actively in team & departmental meetings, contributing insights and completing follow-up actions as requiredMonitor industry trends and competitive activity, reporting key insights to the teamCollect and consolidate monthly reports from the sales team for distributionDocument and distribute meeting notes as requestedFollow company policies, procedures and core business principlesPerform additional responsibilities as assigned by management Inteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
