Scope of Position This position is responsible for analysis and sales and pricing of a large portfolio of products. Key activities are to develop consistent and reliable reporting structures from data from the MRP system to understand and communicate trends, metrics, and indices needed to drive better planning, pricing, and sales activities. A key part of this role is to proactively review the reports to identify trends that are inconsistent with existing plans so that appropriate action can be taken. This would include price changes, forecasting changes, and agent and customer level incentives/corrective actions. Another key part of this position is to help develop industry comparable from available external data sources to track sales trends of key product lines against external metrics. These would include residential and commercial construction data, public competitive information. The position requires organization, synthesis of available data into actionable information. Accuracy, consistency, and ability to recognize "out of the ordinary'" information important. Ability to interact across organizational boundaries, and communicate efficiently and effectively via oral, written, and e-mail forms important. Timeliness and making realistic business assumptions important. This position reports to the Senior Pricing Manager. This role is onsite hybrid. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Develop data reporting structures and formats to interrogate available MRP information Develop clear and concise reporting for key metrics Develop external comparable metrics to help drive organizational expectations Analyze and review results of pricing and promotional initiatives in terms of sales growth, margin and profitability growth Set up frequent multi-organizational reviews of key metrics and develop root causes and action plans for trends that are not proceeding within expectations Work across the organization to help develop initiatives, solidly based on data results, to drive improved business performance Evaluate Pricing/Rebate structure for key customers and significant industry/peer groups identifying opportunities for standardization of programs, streamlining the agreements and related calculations, and improved profitability Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree Preferred 5+ years pricing experience Wholesale/Retail Rebate process experience Strong business acumen Financial reporting experience highly desirable Analytical and data management skills essential Ability to work with ERP systems (QAD/SAP), and analysis via Excel or other tools Ability to work with Microsoft PowerBI Microsoft Dynamics Experience Excellent communication skills in both written and oral forms Computer skills using MS office products: Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Word General Applicable Company Competencies Commitment to Watts' values of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation, and transparency.
