Job Description

STR Property Technician:
Join our team and help keep beautiful vacation homes guest-ready, well-maintained, and running smoothly.
Schedule:
4 days per week
Preferred Schedule:
Thursday, Friday, Sunday & Monday | 9:00 AM-4:00
PM On-Call:
Rotating evening/overnight support, 5:00 PM-8:00
AM Compensation:
Fuel stipend provided + commission for on-call call-outs We're looking for a reliable, hands-on, self-motivated STR Property Technician to help care for short-term rental homes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, staying active, solving problems, and taking pride in maintaining high-quality vacation properties.
What You'll Do:
You'll manage your day through Breezeway, completing scheduled tasks along with occasional service requests from the office manager or property owner. Property Inspections & Guest Support Complete arrival, back-to-back, and departure inspections. Handle occasional service requests and provide a summary report for each task. Document home issues in Breezeway and communicate important concerns to management.
Complete special requests such as:
Early arrival and late departure preparations Gift basket and fire starter placement Package deliveries Refilling soap dispensers and other supplies Home and inventory checks Tracking parking passes, spa keys, and ski locker keys Meeting delivery companies and vendors at properties Delivery and stacking of pellet bags Light Maintenance & Property Care Tighten set screws and secure loose hardware, fixtures, and other items. Replace light bulbs and batteries in remotes and detectors. Perform light cleaning, including dusting and removing cobwebs as needed. Build and break down furniture. Break down and remove boxes. Set mouse traps when needed. Refill propane tanks. Light fireplace pilot lights. Shovel decks, entryways, or garage berms by request only .
On-Call Responsibilities:
This position includes rotating overnight on-call coverage from 5:00 PM-8:00 AM . When you're on call, you'll respond to occasional emergency service requests, such as: Guest lockouts Heating issues Other urgent property or guest needs All service calls are documented in Breezeway and marked complete once resolved. You'll earn commission for on-call call-outs.

Dependable, responsible, and comfortable working independently Strong communication and attention to detail Comfortable using a mobile app such as Breezeway to manage and document tasks Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Able to walk and remain active throughout the workday Valid driver's license Comfortable driving and working in all weather conditions Hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Why This Role?
