Part-Time | San Diego County | $22/hour + $3/hour Gas Stipend | 1099 Contractor We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Property Inspector to help oversee Airbnb and short-term rental properties throughout San Diego County. This is a hands-on, field-based position perfect for someone who is responsible, organized, professional, and enjoys working independently.
Schedule Part-time:
approximately 2-4 hours per day, a few days per week Weekend availability is mandatory Schedule will vary depending on guest check-ins, check-outs, and property needs Must be available to start immediately Pay $22 per hour Additional $3 per hour gas stipend 1099 independent contractor position No benefits provided Service Area Properties are located throughout San Diego County, primarily along the coastal areas. You must be willing and able to drive anywhere from Coronado to Carlsbad , with Coronado assignments occurring occasionally. A reliable vehicle is required . Responsibilities Complete detailed pre-arrival and/or post-checkout property inspections Follow inspection checklists through the Breezeway mobile app Confirm homes are clean, organized, properly staged, and ready for arriving guests Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, missing items, or cleanliness concerns Take clear photos and document property conditions through Breezeway Pick up guest goodie bags and deliver them to designated properties Restock household supplies when needed Maintain an inspection/restocking kit provided by the company Monitor your kit inventory and communicate when supplies need to be replenished Ensure you arrive at each property prepared with the supplies needed to complete assigned tasks Communicate promptly and professionally with management Handle access codes, property information, and company materials responsibly and confidentially Requirements Weekend availability is required Reliable vehicle and willingness to drive throughout the assigned San Diego County service area Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Smartphone with reliable cellular service Comfortable using mobile apps while working in the field Strong attention to detail Dependable and punctual Excellent communication skills Able to work independently without constant supervision Clean, neat, and professional appearance Trustworthy and responsible when entering privately owned homes Able to follow detailed instructions and checklists Comfortable carrying and restocking basic household supplies What We're Looking For We need someone we can trust to represent our company professionally inside our clients' homes .
