Job Description
Are you the right person to join our team? Selzer Realty Property Management, the largest property management firm servicing the inland Mendocino County region, is offering a job opportunity within our Maintenance Division (Selzer Realty Maintenance & Construction, Inc.) as a Property Compliance Tech. This position is crucial in ensuring the properties entrusted to our care are maintained in a safe and habitable condition. This is achieved by conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections, preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations for review with both our team and property owners, and coordinating any resulting activities with our in-house maintenance team and/or via approved vendors. Our ideal candidate must possess a general understanding of basic home systems (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, etc.) for the purpose of identifying potential deficiencies. Additionally, a strong work ethic, with excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. Must be capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with our clients, tenants, vendors, and coworkers; bilingual is a plus. Requires a keen eye for detail and proficiency with basic office equipment and procedures. The physical demands of this position include the ability to stand for long periods, crouch/bend safely, climb ladders, and access tight spaces.
