Office Assistant / Restoration Coordinator Puroclean of East Bridgeport Milford, CT Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Customer communication Water damage restoration English Fire restoration Driver's License Full Job Description PuroClean of East Bridgeport is seeking a dependable and highly organized Office Assistant / Restoration Coordinator. Prior experience and knowledge of the property-restoration or insurance industry is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage insurance claims, estimates, work authorizations, and supporting documentation Communicate with customers, insurance adjusters, property managers, and subcontractors Schedule and dispatch technicians to water, fire, mold, and property-damage assignments Assist with initial inspections by taking photographs, measurements, moisture readings, and detailed notes Enter and maintain accurate job information in company systems Monitor job progress and follow up on documents, approvals, and payments Prepare customer files, invoices, reports, and completion documentation Coordinate employee schedules and provide technicians with job instructions Answer incoming calls and assist customers during property-loss emergencies Perform general administrative and office-support dutiesPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or reconstruction Experience working with insurance claims, adjusters, carriers, or third-party administrators Familiarity with restoration terminology, documentation requirements, and job workflows Experience with Xactimate, DASH/Next Gear, MICA, Encircle, or similar restoration software Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and changing priorities Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable entering homes, businesses, basements, and active restoration job sites Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus This position combines office administration, insurance coordination, customer service, dispatching, and occasional field inspections.To apply, please submit your résumé and a brief description of your restoration or insurance-industry experience.
