Job Description

This position would start on September 1, 2026. The Residential Property Inspector inspects residential properties to identify any potential issues or hazards. The Residential Property Inspector is responsible for examining the physical condition of the property, including but not limited to the mechanical systems, utility systems, as well as the foundation, roof, and overall structure. Once inspections are completed, the Residential Property Inspector will document their findings and provide recommendations for improvements as well as follow through with the recommendations. The Residential Property Inspector is also responsible for providing excellent customer service, gaining customers trust and maintaining the trustworthy customer relationship.

Responsibilities :
Conduct internal and external inspections of residential properties to identify any issues or potential problems. Document findings and prepare detailed reports for the customers as well as company documentation. Provide recommendations for repairs or improvements for the property. Schedule work orders as needed. Ensure work orders are completed by following through during the process. Communicate with customers to explain inspection results and answer any questions. Take emergency phone, for one week at a time, on a rotated schedule. Ensure all inspections are conducted in a safe and professional manner. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a trustworthy relationship with the customers.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License. Prior Residential Property Inspecting experience preferred. A CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or hazards. Availability for storm inspections, as needed. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, computers, and smartphones. Must be willing to learn new software as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 80 pounds. Physically fit and able to perform various tasks that include standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc. Ability to carry and set up extension ladders for roofing inspections. Working conditions may vary based on weather conditions.
