If you enjoy being in the field, evaluating buildings hands-on, and turning observations into actionable recommendations — this role is for you. As a Facility Condition Assessor , you'll conduct comprehensive evaluations of commercial, institutional, and municipal buildings. You'll assess physical conditions, identify deficiencies, estimate repair costs, and contribute to long-term capital planning strategies that help clients make smart decisions about their facilities. What You'll DoCore Responsibilities Conduct on-site inspections and building condition assessments using mobile inspection and capital planning software on an iPad Perform walk-through surveys of major building systems, including: Structural components Building envelopes (roofing, façade, windows) Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Interiors, exteriors, and pavements Conduct space utilization planning and analysis Capture detailed photographic documentation and field observations Identify system types, current condition, remaining useful life, and deficiencies through visual inspection Develop recommendations and planning-level cost estimates for repair or replacement of systems and components Interview facility stakeholders and review property records and documentation Complete Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) reports using asset management software Work remotely when not in the field Climb ladders, access rooftops, and navigate stairs as part of site assessments Travel throughout Massachusetts up to 75% (all travel expenses covered)

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience Experience conducting building condition assessments or inspections of commercial or industrial properties Background in facility design, construction, maintenance management, or capital planning Proficiency with mobile inspection tools and capital planning software Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Clear written communication skills for professional reporting Ability to work independently while meeting productivity and quality standards Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially
Excel Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$75,000 - $85,000 (Base pay adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and market factors)
