The Real Property Specialist will provide full-time, onsite project support to Fort Drum Directorate of Public Works (DPW). This position provides real property data analysis and will focus on maintaining real property and financial data in the General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to ensure Fort Drum is fully accountable for its real property and remains audit ready. The ideal candidate should have experience with Army real property, financial audits, possess great organizational skills, and be an effective communicator with government clients. This role provides support including GFEBS data analysis, updates, inputs, reports, and edits. The Real Property Specialist will also ensure that reporting in GFEBS is consistent with information in the real property physical and digital folders including financial transactions with construction agents. Tasks include tracking construction projects across the installation, maintaining financial records, conducting physical inventories of Army real property including recording facility measurements, ensuring data adheres to Army regulations and guidance and is recorded correctly in GFEBS, assembling and submitting sample packets for audit, and assisting Fort Drum civilian personnel with analysis tasks. The Real Property Specialist will assist the Real Property Technician with data validation. This position will review financial asset records to make sure reporting is complete and accurate. The Real Property Specialist will work closely with the GIS Specialists to validate real property measurements (previous experience with GIS technologies is not a requirement). This position reports directly to the Onsite Project Manager/Real Property Lead.Duties include:
Performing GFEBS data entries and updates for new, existing, and disposed facilities. Using HQIIS data validation of GFEBS records Generating InSITE reports and performing error corrections based on supporting documentation. Compiling and validating documentation for data entry. Generating system queries and reports from HQIIS and GFEBS and export to MS Word, Access, and Excel. Conducting onsite physical surveys to determine facility usage and occupancy and obtain photographs. Ensuring facility supporting documentation is complete and accurate. Conducting data validation to ensure supporting documentation corresponds with GFEBS data. Synchronizing facility updates with the GIS team.Proficiency:
Must be able to perform and demonstrate experience using GFEBS for real property accountability and familiarity with supporting documentation requirements.Candidates must have:
Proficiency in GFEBS Real Property management including running queries and reports. Real Property Audit experience. Familiarity with HQDA InSITE. Proficiency and a solid understanding of diverse types of structures, building uses, asset category codes, construction terminology, business-related computer systems, and office equipment. Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, troubleshoot, problem-solve, and implement processes. Collaboration with the Real Property Technician, Real Property Lead, and GIS Specialists. Professional customer service skills. Good oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to maneuver on uneven terrain during real property inventories.Requirements:
Five years' experience in financial and business process analysis Two years' experience in Army real property/GFEBS. Must possess a valid driver's license. Indicate on your resume/application if you have had a Common Access Card (CAC) within the past two years or have experience with GFEBS real property data entry.
