Associate Attorney |
Real Estate & Assessment Recovery Location:
Columbus, OH An expanding real estate practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Assessment Recovery team in Columbus. Designed for candidates seeking career growth, this role provides significant client interaction, public speaking exposure, and long-term advancement potential within a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Assessment recovery Foreclosure Bankruptcy proceedings Judgment execution Money judgments General real property legal issues
Focus Areas & Responsibilities:
Litigation Management:
Draft pleadings, lead discovery, prepare witnesses, conduct/defend depositions, file motions, and drive cases through trial.
Client Relations:
Serve as a primary point of contact, advise clients on case progress, and chair corporate client meetings.
Operations & Leadership:
Oversee support staff, manage a high volume of active files, and handle digital task systems and billing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bar Admission:
Licensed to practice law in Ohio (Required).
Experience Level:
0-5 years of litigation background in real estate, contract, corporate law, or civil governmental representation.
Technical Aptitude:
Comfortable with Microsoft environments and modern legal practice management tools.
Flexibility:
Available during regular business hours, plus occasional evenings/weekends for client engagements.
