Job Description
The Benton County Assessment Department is looking for a Property Appraiser 2. Job Summary The purpose of this position is to accurately establish real market value of all real and personal property in Benton County. This is done in accordance with the Oregon State department of revenue's rules and regulations and is accomplished through onsite inspections of tracts of land, dwellings, outbuildings, and or manufactured homes. LOWER-LEVEL OPTION
The goal is to fill this position as a Property Appraiser 2. T his recruitment may be filled at the level of Property Appraiser Trainee , Property Appraiser 1 , or Property Appraiser 2 depending on qualifications and experience. For Property Appraiser Trainee level, the position is distinguished from the Property Appraiser 1 by the entry-level type of residential appraisals performed and the level of training and oversight by Senior appraisers. For Property Appraiser I level, initial appraisals may be less complex and of narrower scope than those performed by a Property Appraiser 2.Please Note:
