We manage single family homes and apartment complexes for property owners and investors throughout the Metro area. Our goal is to provide best-in-class property management, client services without parallel, and a positive experience for renters. We value transparency, collaboration, and intuitive problem solving. We are a fast-growing company and have an immediate, part-time position available for a property inspector.
This position entails:
Conduct on-site inspections at residential rental properties. Conduct smoke detector and fire alarm system inspections at multi-family properties. Document (written and photograph) inspections and provide final inspection reports to Chroma's clients. Create work orders and maintenance requests based on property inspections. Communicate with our property management and maintenance coordination team.
Skills:
Working knowledge of maintaining and renovating houses and apartment buildings. Strong understanding of how the physical systems and appliances in properties operate. Strong, proactive written and verbal communication with tenants, Chroma team members, and external parties as needed. Strong coordination management skills. Strong technology skills, including property management software and web-based maintenance systems. Specific software includes Appfolio, Property Meld, and Google Workspace. Able to use an ipad, smart phone, and computer. High attention to detail and ability to track and resolve issues to completion while maintaining shifting priorities.
Experience:
Prefer prior experience working for a property management company, contractor, or property-based vendor. You qualify for valid employment in the US You will submit to and pass a background check Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle. Must be willing to travel throughout the Portland Metro area.
Compensation:
Hourly pay at $32/hr. 401(k) and matching contributions Eligibility for Healthcare Plan including Vision and Dental Paid time off
Mileage Reimbursement:
current IRS rate of 76 cents/mile

$32.00 per hour
