We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced PCA Property Condition Assessment Inspector to join our Environmental Consulting (EC) Department. This role is part time/1099 that involves conducting thorough Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) to evaluate the physical condition of properties. The ideal candidate will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring the production of high-quality PCA reports and identifying opportunities for proactive improvements, such as energy efficiency enhancements.

Responsibilities Support EC Department's Property Condition Assessment projects by: Conducting PCA inspections as part of teams and independently. Consulting with other EC field Inspectors performing PCAs. Ensuring timely completion of high-quality PCA reports. Ability to identify and evaluate proactive opportunities in addition to reactive condition assessments (e.g., energy efficiency).
Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of performing various types of PCA inspections. Ability to organize information to run an inspection program. Strong report writing and client communications skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must have valid Driver's License Must reside locally in the Metro DC Area (DC/VA/MD)
Physical Requirements:
Employee must be physically fit to perform duties in all types of environments and conditions. Regularly required to walk and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, hands or feel and verbally communicate and listen. Other physical requirements include walking, climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
