Job Description
Edgefield County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Real Estate Appraiser in the Tax Assessor's office. Job requirements include the inspection, measurement, and appraisal of real property as well as map reading and the interpretation of deeds. Clerical accuracy, mathematical proficiency, and the ability to communicate courteously and effectively are essential job skills. Must possess state certification as a licensed Real Estate Appraiser and a valid South Carolina driver's license. The starting salary will be $41,865 - $50,238 depending on qualifications and experience. This position will remain open until filled by a qualified applicant. Edgefield County conducts pre-employment drug testing, DMV and criminal background checks on prospective employees.
