SiteTech Systems is hiring 1-2 Appraiser Trainees to join our residential and commercial appraisal team. We'll pay for your license training and pay you a salary while you complete it. This isn't an unpaid internship or a 1099 gig.
Why this job is different:
We pay for your appraisal education. All required coursework and licensing fees are covered by the company. You get paid while you train. Competitive salary during your trainee period, you won't be working for free or per-appraisal scraps while you build your hours. Real income potential. Once licensed, our appraisers can earn $70,000+ per year. Hands-on mentorship. You'll work directly alongside other appraisers, learning residential valuation. Job security in a skilled trade. What you'll do: Accompany a licensed appraiser on property inspections (measuring, photographing, documenting condition) Research comparable sales and market data Assist in preparing residential appraisal reports Complete required coursework toward your trainee and certified appraiser credentials Learn appraisal methodology from the ground up What we're looking for: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (this role involves local travel to properties) Strong attention to detail and comfort with basic math/analysis Good communication skills, as you'll interact with homeowners, agents, and lenders Comfortable using a computer and learning new software High school diploma and minimum of associates college degree is required Must be able to pass a background check as required for state licensing No prior appraisal experience needed, we'll train the right person
