Central Appraisal District of Taylor County Residential Appraiser The Central Appraisal District of Taylor County is seeking a residential Appraiserto appraise residential properties. Taylor County, Texas, located 150 miles west of Fort Worth, maintains a moderate annual growth rate that supports an economy with three universities and a Strategic Air Command base. Appraiser responsibilities include office and fieldwork leading to annual reappraisals and value defense associated with residential real property mass appraisal. Seeking a professional with a background in mathematics, accounting, business finance, or analytical science. A state general appraisal certification, MAI designation, or Registered Professional Appraiser designation is preferred but not required. Extensive experience in residential and ad valorem appraising is a plus. This position is classified as "exempt" and is salaried. An applicant must have a valid Texas driver's license and provide proof of auto liability insurance. The District provides transportation. The selected applicant must pass a background check. Salary is contingent on experience and qualifications, ranging from $50,251 to $56,525. Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.
