Residential Team Lead & Land/Ag Team Lead We are filling two (2) Residential Team Lead positions and one (1) Land/Ag Team Lead position. The roles share the same pay, requirements, and schedule, they differ only in the type of property you'll oversee. You do not need to apply more than once. In addition to the shared duties above, you will: Supervise the gathering of data on the classification and value of residential and commercial land Act as liaison between Appraisal Support, Commercial, and Residential appraisal Assist in the oversight of properties receiving or applying for 1-D-1 Special (Agricultural) Valuation What we're looking for Registered Professional Appraiser (RPA) — or the ability to pursue and obtain the RPA within 5 years (Level 3 license a plus) Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience Minimum 2 years of fee or mass appraisal experience Knowledge of appraisal factors, techniques, methods, and principles, including the Texas Property Tax Code, USPAP, and IAAO Standards Ability to read and interpret closing statements, surveys, site plans, title insurance, subdivision plats, topography maps, condominium declarations, and other real estate documents Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to assess information, make decisions, manage time, and work independently Authorization to work in the U.S., reliable transportation, a valid Texas Driver's License, and proof of liability insurance Nice to have Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Appraisal, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (relevant work experience may substitute) Experience in sales, leasing, property management, building, or development Familiarity with land development, site planning, subdivision processes, and zoning regulations Knowledge of farm and ranch operations and the qualification/application of special valuation (especially for Land/Ag) Physical requirements & work environment Both indoor and outdoor work. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods; bend, kneel, reach, and twist; use hands for data entry for much of the day; hear and speak in person and by phone; read fine print; and lift up to 40 pounds. The position involves deadline-driven work in a changing public environment.
