What You'll Do Travel to active project sites to support construction teams across multiple locations Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and landowners, ensuring clear, timely communication Identify, assess, and help resolve landowner concerns related to construction activities, access, and impacts Negotiate and settle damage claims associated with utility infrastructure projects (e.g., crop loss, property damage, access issues) Track and report on landowner issues, claim status, and resolution outcomes to project leadership We're Looking for Someone Who Works efficiently under tight deadlines and keeps multiple priorities moving Is organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Communicates clearly and professionally — in writing, on the phone, and face to face Brings a strong service mindset to every landowner and client interaction Picks up new systems and software quickly Is eager to learn and grow in the right of way profession Where You Fit This posting covers Utilities Agent levels 1-3, and the pay range shown reflects the full span across all three levels for the standard market rate— not the range for any single level. Leveling is based on a number of factors — including years of experience, demonstrated skills, the complexity and scope of work you've owned, overall career depth, and what you demonstrate throughout the interview process. • $101,702 | Minimum of 5 years of Right of Way acquisition Other Minimum Requirements Active Texas Notary OR the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire Proficient with MS Office Suite — specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC's systems Valid driver's license Relocation and per diem are not provided.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, it requires a combination of office-based and field work. Employees will spend prolonged periods sitting and performing computer-based tasks, including typing, data entry, and virtual communication, while also regularly traveling to landowner properties, project sites, and government facilities, some of which may be in rural or remote locations with limited accessibility. Driving is an essential function of the role and may involve extended periods and long-distance travel. Fieldwork may require walking over uneven terrain, standing, or navigating outdoor environments, with routine exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow. The role also involves frequent interaction with a diverse range of individuals, including landowners, government officials, and members of the public, requiring the ability to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism across differing personalities and potentially challenging situations.
