EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY APPRAISAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Appeals Coordinator, conducts research and performs special assignments and projects for the Appraisal section.
EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Research addresses, situs, and linked property changes for the BPP department. 2. Responsible for gathering information for the creating, deleting, and updating of the real property mobile home records. 3. Assists with building permit processing and inquiries. 4. Performs various data entry and/or word processing duties as required. 5. Scanning documentation as required. 6. Generates and processes form letters as requested by appraisal staff. 7. Assists with sales and other market data from various sources. 8. Updates appraisal records and proofs accounts with new value. 9. Assist with mineral and industrial account maintenance. 10. Assist Appraisal with the preparation of information for the Appraisal Review Board including organization, scheduling and documentation flow. 11. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. Five years related work experience and data research skills. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey ideas. Must have a working knowledge of office equipment, the District's appraisal software system and other computer software. Regular attendance and punctuality are required. Overtime may be required. Preferred Qualifications - Additional years of related work experience and/or property tax field experience. Compensation - Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
