As a Right of Way Technician, you will support right of way managers and acquisition agents throughout the property acquisition process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: Reviewing deeds, plats, title reports, tax records, and property ownership information Preparing offer packages, agreements, easements, letters, and other acquisition documents Maintaining parcel files, project trackers, contact records, and status reports Coordinating mailings, document execution, notarization, and recording Communicating professionally with property owners, attorneys, lenders, government clients, and project team members Assisting with property research, compensation calculations, and quality-control reviews Helping ensure project documents are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule Occasionally visiting project sites, courthouses, or local government offices Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: Ideal candidates will have at least one year prior experience in real estate, paralegal studies, business, public administration, planning, surveying, engineering or a related field is preferred but not required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear written and verbal communication Professional judgment and respect for confidential information Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines Comfort working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Willingness to learn about real estate documents, right of way acquisition, easements, appraisals, title matters, and eminent domain procedures Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
