Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Right-of-Way / Eminent Domain Appraiser to join our growing team. This position involves preparing appraisals for properties impacted by public infrastructure and eminent domain projects, including both full and partial acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have experience with right-of-way and condemnation appraisal work, including partial takings and damages. We are also open to training the right candidate who has appraisal experience but limited or no right-of-way background. Key Responsibilities Prepare appraisal reports for full and partial property acquisitions Analyze before-and-after valuations and determine just compensation Support right-of-way and eminent domain projects for public agencies Prepare project sales studies and market analyses Review appraisals for compliance with USPAP and applicable agency requirements Communicate appraisal findings clearly with clients, agencies, attorneys, and property owners Provide expert witness testimony when required Qualifications Required Wisconsin State Certified General or Residential Appraiser license Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments Preferred Experience with eminent domain or condemnation appraisal assignments Experience with right-of-way projects involving DOT, utility, or municipal clients Knowledge of Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions Ability to analyze complex valuation scenarios, including partial acquisitions and damages Experience working with public agencies or infrastructure projects Prior expert witness testimony experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Health insurance with no employee contribution Dental insurance Disability insurance Retirement plan with company match Paid vacation and holidays Professional development and training opportunities Why Join Us?
