Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Regulatory and Compliance Associate to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure that our organization adheres to all relevant cosmetic and food manufactuerr regulations, accreditation standards, and legal requirements. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our compliance programs, support quality improvement initiatives, and promote a culture of continuous regulatory excellence.
Duties may include:
- Assist with internal, customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
- Assist in preparing responses to customer questionnaires, audit requests, and regulatory documentation.
- Assist with employee training by preparing materials, maintaining training records, and documenting attendance.
- Assist in writing, formatting, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, forms, and change control documentation.
- Assist in maintaining company and supplier certifications (ISO, Organic, Kosher, Halal, Vegan, etc.).
- Maintain current copies of Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Certificates of Analysis (COAs), specifications, and other controlled documents.
- Review logbooks for completeness and accuracy prior to final management approval.
- Assist in collecting and organizing supplier documentation required for qualification and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in preparing customer technical and regulatory documentation, including questionnaires, declarations, and compliance statements.
- Assist with CAPAs, deviations, customer complaints, and nonconformance documentation.
- Assist with issuing document control activities, and archiving controlled documents.
- Support new product regulatory reviews by gathering required documentation.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the Regulatory and Quality departments.
