Contract Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced healthcare regulatory/accreditation professional to support hospital survey readiness and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CMS Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and prior hands-on experience supporting Joint Commission or DNV (Det Norske Veritas) surveys . This role will support transition from DNV to Joint Commission and provide on-site support during the upcoming survey season.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support regulatory/accreditation survey readiness activities. Conduct tracers, internal audits, rounding, and compliance assessments. Identify regulatory gaps and coordinate corrective action plans. Provide on-site support during accreditation surveys and manage Survey Command Center activities. Partner with hospital leadership, regulatory teams, and subject matter experts. Provide guidance on CMS CoPs, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Develop and deliver regulatory education and compliance tools. Support post-survey remediation and ongoing regulatory readiness.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of healthcare, regulatory, quality, risk, or patient-care experience . Strong knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation for acute care/critical access hospitals . Previous experience with Joint Commission or DNV survey readiness is highly preferred/required. Clinical background/RN or Associate Degree preferred. Must be experienced and able to work hands-on/boots-on-the-ground ; this is not an entry-level role.

Pay:
