Job Description
The Valuation & Analytics ("V&A") team is seeking a Consultant to join its team. This team provides valuation and analytical services related to financial instruments for Deloitte's clients in North America and worldwide. The Consultant may work on the valuation of financial instruments (such as fixed income, equity, and credit derivatives, structured products, and other financial instruments) for both internal and external clients and may also be involved in advisory services related to quantitative analytics. Work you'll do: As a Consultant on the Valuation & Analytics team, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining vendor market data to support timely, accurate valuations and participating in quarterly due diligence with third-party data providers.
- Responding to inquiries from Deloitte teams globally (US, EU, Asia) on platform functionality, pricing methodologies, inquiry workflows, local markets, and financial products.
- Analyzing market price moves and recent transactions and implementing quality control processes.
- Driving process improvements and developing tools to improve efficiency through automation and standardization.
- Collaborating with audit engagement teams and internal technology team and communicating valuation concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
