Job Description
The Maine Municipal Association (MMA) Risk Management Services is seeking a motivated professional to join our Loss Control Department as a Loss Control Consultant. Our consultants partner with Maine municipalities to identify risks, improve workplace safety, protect public assets, and reduce losses through education, training, and risk management consulting. This home-based position offers the opportunity to work independently while serving municipalities throughout Maine. Consultants manage their own schedules, conduct on-site risk assessments, provide training, evaluate facilities and safety programs, complete property valuations, and develop practical recommendations that help members reduce risk. Frequent statewide travel, with occasional overnight travel, is required.
