Job DescriptionSenior Data Security Engineer (Insider Risk Management•Engineering), AbbVie Inc., Cambridge, MA; Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week/ 2 days WFH/remote).Key ResponsibilitiesCreate new DLP content to aid in protection of company IP.Configure preventative controls for email, print, web & removable media data movement actions.
Analyze DLP events & escalations to customize & improve existing use cases.
Implement dashboards, metrics & reports associated with data loss actions identified.
Focus on implementation of data at rest solution to identify unprotected unstructured data within corporate ecosystem. QualificationsEducation & ExperienceMust possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security or related degree & 5 years managing & supporting networking concepts, data loss technologies & enterprise engineering related to security solutionsOf work experience required, must have 5 years:evaluating & (re)configuring data loss utilizing prevention (DLP) tools to implement technology support;administrating & managing data classification, DLP policy creation configuration within a global organization, working across multiple geographic regions;integrating technology solutions & ensuring continuous data ingestion for security event correlation using Splunk;troubleshooting use cases & policy events to ensure accuracy & integrity of the data being presented to support lines of business; &performing insider risk data mapping, including identification & remediation of critical asset data within our cloud & network storage locations.
Alternatively, would accept a Master's in Information Security, Cyber Security or related degree & 6 months managing & supporting networking concepts, data loss technologies & enterprise engineering related to security solutions.
Of work experience required, must have 6 months:evaluating & (re)configuring data loss utilizing prevention (DLP) tools to implement technology support;administrating & managing data classification, DLP policy creation configuration within a global organization, working across multiple geographic regions;integrating technology solutions & ensuring continuous data ingestion for security event correlation using Splunk;troubleshooting use cases & policy events to ensure accuracy & integrity of the data being presented to support lines of business; &performing insider risk data mapping, including identification & remediation of critical asset data within our cloud & network storage locations. Work experience may be gained concurrently. Would accept reasonable combination of work, education and training.

Additional InformationSalary Range:
