Job Description

Messer Construction seeks a Risk Analyst to support complex commercial construction projects nationwide. In this role, you will analyze project, contractual, safety, and financial risks, helping project teams and leadership make informed decisions. You will evaluate insurance and bonding requirements, support claims and incident reviews, and maintain risk registers across Messer's healthcare, higher education, industrial, and aviation portfolios. Partnering closely with operations, safety, and finance, you'll develop mitigation strategies, monitor key risk indicators, and prepare clear reports and dashboards that reinforce Messer's culture of safety, integrity, and accountability. Responsibilities Analyze project, contractual, safety, and financial risks across Messer's construction portfolio. Develop and maintain project and enterprise risk registers and track key risk indicators. Evaluate insurance, bonding, and contractual risk requirements and coordinate with brokers/insurers. Support review and analysis of incidents, claims, and near misses to identify root causes and trends. Prepare clear risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for project teams and leadership. Partner with operations, safety, and finance to design and implement risk mitigation strategies. Contribute to continuous improvement of risk policies, tools, and standard operating procedures. Support training and coaching of project teams on risk awareness and best practices.
