2958762393-2 Apply for this job now Job Description BNY is seeking a Specialist, Reconciliation II to support accurate cash and position reconciliations for global financial clients. In this role, you will investigate breaks, validate data across custody and accounting systems, and resolve discrepancies within strict SLAs to protect clients and market integrity. You will partner with operations, client service, and technology teams, contributing to process improvements and risk controls. Responsibilities Perform daily cash and position reconciliations for assigned accounts, investigating and resolving breaks within established SLAs Analyze reconciliation discrepancies, identify root causes, and work with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve issues Validate data accuracy across custody, trading, and accounting systems to ensure integrity of client records Prepare and maintain reconciliation reports, audit trails, and documentation in accordance with BNY policies and regulatory standards Escalate complex or high-risk breaks to senior specialists and managers with clear impact assessment and recommendations Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and control enhancements to reduce operational risk Adhere to risk, compliance, and information security requirements in all reconciliation activities Collaborate with global operations, client service, and technology teams to address recurring issues and improve data quality Required Skills Cash reconciliation Position reconciliation Investment accounting Custody operations Data analysis Excel and spreadsheets Reconciliation tools/systems (e.g., TLM, Intelli Match) Break investigation and resolution Operational risk and controls Financial products knowledge (equities, fixed income, derivatives)
