Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management or related field preferred The Opportunity As a Vendor Insurance Analyst , you will serve as the frontline lead for insurance risk management within an assigned territory. You will be responsible for evaluating the insurance profiles of vendors and subcontractors, ensuring they align with company standards and contractual requirements. This role grants you the independent authority to approve or deny insurance documentation based on your technical analysis and interpretation of policy language.Primary Responsibilities Policy Analysis & Compliance:
Review, analyze, and interpret complex insurance documentation and policies. Ensure full compliance with written agreements and contracts by evaluating vendor work activities and scope.Decision Making:
Independently exercise authority to approve or reject insurance submissions based on risk assessment.Data Management:
Accurately enter and track insurance data across company databases and software platforms to ensure visibility for project staff and internal departments.Stakeholder Liaison:
Act as a primary point of contact for project managers, vendors, contractors, and insurance brokers to facilitate the review process and resolve discrepancies.Requirements Technical Skills & Experience Industry Expertise:
At least 2 years of experience within the insurance industry or a dedicated risk management role.Construction Knowledge:
Preferred experience analyzing casualty and liability coverages , specifically those utilized within the construction sector.Contractual Literacy:
Proven ability to read and understand complex legal contracts and insurance policy forms.Software Proficiency:
Strong skills in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn proprietary tracking databases.Core Competencies Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for negotiating with external partners and presenting findings internally.Time Management:
Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of territory-specific files effectively.Collaboration:
A flexible team player who can adapt to shifting department demands and cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders.Work Environment Hybrid Schedule:
