This function manages business risks for CAI's global leasing activities, with a primary focus on credit risk management, collections and default actions, KYC compliance, and insurance oversight. The position will support the risk team's daily processes and initiatives. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead comprehensive risk assessments, develop financial models, and implement risk management strategies to safeguard our assets and optimize operational performance. Your expertise will drive data-driven decision-making and support compliance with industry regulations, ensuring our continued growth and stability. Responsibilities Contribute to the team's efforts to identify, evaluate, plan, and execute strategies to manage risk, working in conjunction with colleagues and other functional groups to support profitable growth. Support credit risk processes, including evaluating new lease credit lines, the application approval process, and periodic credit line and risk rating reviews. Provide credit recommendations to manage risk within appropriate risk tolerances, considering developments in the industry's risk environment. Contribute to the operational processing of Know Your Customer (KYC) and sanctions compliance, including evaluating updates to customers' corporate profiles. Support the team's operational processes, including routine transactional decisions and active collections of delinquent accounts. Contribute to default resolution and recovery efforts in coordination with other functions (legal, marketing, and the management team). Support the Risk team's compliance with corporate policies and reporting requirements. Maintain department policies, operating procedures, and key metrics; support audit needs as applicable. Under the direction of management, lead projects related to process enhancements, risk evaluations, or other initiatives. Other tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Mathematics, or a related field required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, ideally in an asset-financing environment. Experience in credit risk underwriting and familiarity with broader credit function processes and controls. Ability to maintain strong working relationships across a diverse organization. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across functions to support group goals and ongoing operations. Driven, proactive, and resourceful.
