You'll create credit risk models, research collection techniques and effectiveness, analyze credit marketing tests and provide credit decision support to improve the overall effectiveness of the internal credit programs of our clients. You'll also be responsible for:
- Assisting in developing and maintaining credit pre-approval and limit policies
- Auditing test and control groups to assure proper setup and execution
- Providing statistical support for "ad hoc" credit analysis
- Evaluating credit test results and offering recommendations
- Writing Structured Query Language (SQL) and statistical software programs such as R or Python to pull necessary data from the Marketing Database [HR Recruiter will enter Job Description] Qualifications What It Takes We need a team player with professional level communication skills, who has the ability to present data and ideas confidently.
- 2+ years' statistical data analysis experience
- A solid knowledge of Python, R & SQL; all modeling and data analysis will be conducted with these tools
- High level of analysis & problem solving skills; analyzing problems and finding appropriate solutions on a daily basis.
- An extensive knowledge and use of MS Office and Windows applications, especially Excel
