$70,000 - $80,000/year About the Role A well-established construction company is seeking a Risk Management Administrator to support its Risk Manager in identifying, evaluating, and controlling loss exposures across the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role, working with Operations, Safety, Labor Relations, Estimating, Legal, and Accounting to keep risk management practices integrated and consistent. It's a great fit for someone detail-oriented who enjoys owning processes, working with insurance and compliance documentation, and occasionally getting out of the office to visit jobsites. What You'll Do Manage the incoming certificate of insurance (COI) database from subcontractors and third parties, tracking compliance, expirations, and project coverage Obtain, review, and distribute the company's own COIs through the insurance brokerage team Maintain and distribute the Approved Driver List and manage the Employer Pull Notice Program Coordinate registrations and renewals for the company's vehicle fleet Prepare and submit renewal applications for State and Federal Certificates of Financial Responsibility (COFR) for qualifying vessels Support incident investigations, including data collection and documentation Help compile and submit annual OSHA 300 and 300A forms Track project progress and asset locations with Operations, and help provide underwriters timely notice of notable activities (tandem tows, technical tows, severe weather, etc.) Attend quarterly Workers' Compensation claim reviews Assist in preparing materials and evidence for hearings, lawsuits, insurance investigations, and audits Prepare the agenda and materials for the monthly Safety Leadership Meeting Organize and maintain Risk Department files Participate in the annual policy renewal meeting with the insurance broker Travel occasionally to vessels, jobsites, and industry conferences What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health, Political Science, or a related field — or at least two years of relevant risk management and compliance experience Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Clear written and verbal communication with managers, clients, regulators, and internal teams Strong research and problem-solving skills; able to manage priorities independently and handle high volumes of work High ethical standards and a collaborative, team-first mindset Valid driver's license Ability to work regularly from the corporate office and in the field aboard vessels Nice to Have Experience with Vista Viewpoint or MobileOps Python or Visual Basic experience Background in maritime, construction, or insurance/risk environments Work Environment Primarily office-based, with periodic time on the project sites where noise levels and physical activity vary. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, climb stairs, and board and disembark vessels. Compensation & How to Apply Pay range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
