As an Intern with Pinion Risk Management, you'll gain real-world experience working alongside industry-leading advisors who help agricultural clients manage market volatility and strengthen financial performance. This internship offers exposure to commodity risk management strategies, client consulting, market research, and trading analysis while providing meaningful opportunities to contribute to client success. You'll work directly with experienced professionals, participate in client engagements, and learn how risk management strategies are developed and implemented for grain, livestock, and dairy operations. Be surrounded by professionals operating at a high level across ag accounting and consulting services. Learn from the best and grow with the best. What You'll Be Doing Assist Risk Management Advisors with market research, client reporting, and risk management strategies for agricultural producers.
Monitor commodity markets and help prepare hedge summaries, market plans, and client presentations.
Participate in client meetings, prospect visits, trainings, and industry events alongside experienced team members.
Support data analysis and reporting using Excel and other risk management tools.
Complete a project or presentation demonstrating your understanding of agricultural risk management. What You'll Need for This Position Currently pursuing a degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Economics, Dairy Management, Grain/Livestock Merchandising, or a related field.
Interest in agriculture, commodity markets, and producer-focused consulting.
Knowledge of, or coursework involving, futures, options, cash marketing, or risk management is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn new technologies and analytical tools.
Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and solve problems using data and sound judgment.
