The Risk Manager leads the health system's integrated program for medical malpractice/claims management, enterprise risk management, patient safety, and physician review/peer review. This role proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates clinical and operational risks; coordinates event investigations using Just Culture principles; manages claims and insured/uninsured losses; and facilitates physician peer review (including
OPPE/FPPE
) in collaboration with Medical Staff leadership. The incumbent must be either a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or a credentialed Paralegal.
