Market Risk Project Manager /

Senior Project Manager Introduction:

This position is for a Market Risk Project Manager / Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for leading strategic technology, regulatory, and risk-transformation initiatives in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets sector.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage projects related to Market Risk, Value at Risk (VaR), Risk Sensitivities, P&L, Stress Testing, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Products, Derivatives, Complex Derivatives, Total Return Swaps (TRS), Municipal Bonds, and Interest Rate Risk. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of risk-transformation initiatives. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and key milestones. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills:

Strong expertise in Market Risk, Value at Risk (VaR), Risk Sensitivities, P&L, Stress Testing, Fixed Income, Interest Rate Products, Derivatives, Complex Derivatives, Total Return Swaps (TRS), Municipal Bonds, and Interest Rate Risk. Proven experience in leading strategic technology and regulatory initiatives in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets sector. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in Project Management (e.g.

PMP, PRINCE2

). Experience with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. Basel III, Dodd-Frank). Knowledge of financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
