Risk Control Manager Job Summary We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the role of Risk Control Manager at our Las Cruces, NM location. This position is crucial in overseeing the risk control strategies of the organization and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards. Main Duties Take charge of the organization's risk management program, focusing on identification, avoidance, and mitigation of risks. Work closely with leadership, healthcare professionals, and staff to implement effective risk management solutions. Handle all aspects of litigation, including investigations, interviews, and legal paperwork. Provide training to hospital employees on risk management processes and incident reporting. Offer expert advice on informed consent, documentation standards, and disclosure practices. Manage insurance policies related to professional liability, general liability, and property claims. Act as the Compliance and Ethics Officer for the facility. Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Must have a valid NM RN license. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or director role. Proven background in risk management within a healthcare environment. CPHRM certification is preferred, required within three years of employment.
