Risk Services Administrator I Location:
Bend, OR Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour
DOE Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Risk Services Administrator I to support claims administration, risk management operations, and insurance-related processes. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, claimants, vendors, and internal stakeholders while ensuring accurate claim documentation, administrative support, and timely resolution of risk-related matters. Key Responsibilities Receive, review, and process incoming claims and incident reports. Maintain accurate claim files, records, and supporting documentation. Provide professional customer service and respond to inquiries regarding claims and insurance matters. Enter and manage claim data within risk management systems. Support adjusters with documentation, correspondence, payment processing, and claim follow-up activities. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents. Manage department mail, email communications, and document distribution. Assist with insurance certificates, compliance reporting, and policy administration. Coordinate meetings, schedules, and special projects as assigned. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all records and information. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, claims administration, insurance, risk management, or a related office environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with claims management, document management, or risk management systems preferred. Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills. Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
