Job Description

A healthcare facility about an hour from Fredericksburg, VA , is seeking a full-time Quality and Risk Director to join their team.
Pay:
$112,000 - $127,000/Year (dependent on experience) Opportunity for quarterly bonuses
Quality and Risk Director Opportunity:
Full-time, on-site permanent opportunity
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Quality and Risk Director ensures the facility meets all federal, state, and corporate regulatory standards while leading accreditation readiness efforts, compliance efforts, and staff education efforts Updates and maintains facility plans, oversees risk management activities such as the completion of incident reports, notice of potential claims, corrective action planning, and incident reporting Quality and Risk Director partners with department leaders to enhance patient care, resolve concerns, manage risk-related activities, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and employee recognition
Quality and Risk Director Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field is highly preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience in Risk Management, Quality Management, Patient Safety, and/or Performance Improvement within a healthcare setting Must have experience with State, Joint Commission, and/or CARF surveys Hands-on facility-level leadership experience working directly with staff, patients, and department leaders is required
