Redstone Search are working with a global energy trading house who looking to hire an experienced power trader to their team in Stamford CT. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Develop and execute proprietary trading strategies across the PJM and Northeast power markets. Trade short-term power products, including day-ahead, balance-of-week, weekly, monthly, and short-dated futures. Analyse market fundamentals, weather, transmission constraints, outages, and supply-demand dynamics to identify trading opportunities. Manage risk within established limits while optimising P&L performance. Work closely with quantitative, analytics and origination teams to enhance market insights and trading strategies. Monitor market developments and react quickly to changing market conditions. Role reports to Head of US Power Trading Key Qualifications / Experience 2-8 years' experience trading US power markets. Demonstrated experience trading PJM and/or Northeast ISOs. Proven track record trading short-term futures and prompt products, including day-ahead, weekly and monthly tenors. Strong understanding of US power market fundamentals and price drivers. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with a disciplined approach to risk management. Located in Stamford CT or happy to relocate
