Leverage risk-taking capabilities for the team, including contributing to the desks process, booking and executing trades, and developing trading strategies. Responsible for managing at least one trading strategy. Propose trade ideas, research, and strategies based on evidence from research and analysis. Effectively communicate trade recommendations. Build, enhance, and apply models and tools for analysis and trading ideas. Provide research, tooling, or analytical support to the desk as required by the Portfolio Manager. Participate in portfolio construction and risk-management assessment. Actively manage the book by back testing strategies, expanding existing strategies, and producing new strategies. Monitor and respond to incoming market information, economic announcements, and general trading activity to maintain correct pricing of derivatives, manage portfolio risk, and find investment opportunities. Trade and risk manage equity derivatives, options, futures, swaps, ETFs and other macro or cross asset investments. Requires a Masters or foreign equivalent degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field and 3 years of experience building, trading, or managing equity index and macro portfolios or books. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: o Utilizing quantitative methods and data analysis to support trading, risk taking, risk management and portfolio management decisions o Designing and implementing tools to help analyze and improve portfolio profit and loss o Communicating investment recommendations to clients or senior management o Performing in-depth fundamental, technical and cross-sectional analysis of market for various asset classes.
