This position requires a strong attention to detail, comfort working with numbers and data, sound judgment, and a high level of trustworthiness. The Trading Specialist will monitor portfolios, implement investment decisions, perform quarterly rebalancing, and work closely with Prairiewood's advisors and client service team to ensure portfolios are managed accurately and efficiently. The successful Trading Specialist will also be someone who enjoys working with numbers, is highly analytical, pays close attention to details, and approaches investment decisions and trade execution with discipline. This person must be trustworthy and understand that accurate, confidential, and timely handling of client trades in a tax efficient manner is essential. The Trading Specialist role requires the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Current securities licenses appropriate for the position, or a willingness and ability to obtain the required licenses. Strong numerical and analytical skills with a genuine enjoyment of working with numbers, data, and investment information. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to execute trades and portfolio changes accurately and efficiently. Ability to understand and follow investment policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and internal controls. Proficiency with Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
