Job Description

Willowbridge Associates Inc. is an asset management company that seeks to deliver long-term capital appreciation investment strategies to clients. The firm was established in 1988 by Mr. Philip Yang and trades across discretionary global macro, systematic, and equity-based strategies. The firm's proprietary investment research and dynamic, integrated risk management framework enable it to manage portfolios on behalf of sophisticated investors. The firm is headquartered in New Jersey. Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trader to join our dynamic trading desk for our Asia/European trading shift (typical shift is 10 PM to 6 AM). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial markets and demonstrate exceptional analytical skills. As a Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades, and conducting thorough market research to inform trading strategies. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Duties
  • Execute buy and sell orders for various securities while adhering to established trading strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth research on market trends, economic indicators, and individual securities to inform trading decisions.
  • Analyze financial data and reports to assess the performance of investments and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and refine trading strategies based on market analysis.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies as necessary to optimize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant securities laws and regulations while executing trades.
  • Utilize risk management techniques to minimize potential losses while maximizing returns. Qualifications
  • Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of financial concepts and asset management principles.
  • Proficient in risk analysis and risk management practices related to trading activities.
  • Excellent mathematical skills for analyzing data and making informed decisions based on quantitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with securities law and regulatory requirements governing trading activities is preferred.
  • Proven ability to conduct thorough financial analysis and research to support trading strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration within the team.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
