About Cambium Cambium is an integrated wealth management, tax, and estate planning firm focused on helping clients make wise financial decisions through deep relationships, thoughtful planning, and collaborative expertise. We are growing our tax department and looking for a Tax Associate to help support tax preparation, client service, workflow management, and operational coordination across the firm. The Role This role is ideal for someone with several years of tax experience who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and helping clients through the tax process. You'll work closely with advisors, firm leadership, and our tax team to help deliver a thoughtful, efficient, and relationship-focused experience for clients. This is a growth-oriented role with opportunities to expand technical knowledge, client responsibility, and long-term career development within an integrated planning environment. Responsibilities Prepare individual, business, and trust tax returns Gather and organize client tax documents and information Communicate directly with clients regarding missing items and follow-up questions Assist with tax planning implementation and coordination Handle IRS and state notices and correspondence Review bookkeeping and financial information for accuracy and completeness Help manage tax season workflows, deadlines, and project tracking Coordinate with advisors, estate planning, and operations teams Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client experience Qualifications 4+ years of tax preparation experience for individuals and small businesses EA, CPA, or CPA candidate Strong organizational and follow-through skills Comfortable communicating professionally with clients Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Team-oriented and collaborative mindset Compensation & Benefits Expected salary range: $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience, credentials, and fit Bonus opportunities Paid time off (Vacation, sick, & volunteer) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Why Cambium?
