What You'll Do Prepare and review individual, business, trust, estate, and gift tax returns Manage multi-state tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Conduct quarterly tax planning for business and individual clients Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation prior to tax preparation Research tax laws, regulations, and complex tax issues to provide accurate guidance Communicate directly with taxing authorities to resolve inquiries and compliance matters Partner with clients and colleagues to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality tax services Support clients with tax-related questions and planning strategies throughout the year What We're Looking For CPA, EA (Enrolled Agent), or actively pursuing licensure Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 5+ years of income tax preparation experience Experience preparing business, individual, trust, or estate tax returns Knowledge of multi-state taxation and tax compliance Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, PDF software, and accounting applications Experience with tax preparation software such as UltraTax, Lacerte, CCH Axcess, Drake, or similar platforms is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines in a paperless environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
