Billing/Collections Specialist

Part-Time, In-office position 4-5 days per week, 20-25 hours per week

Advisors Group is a highly specialized professional services firm providing tax, audit, business management, mergers and acquisitions, and valuation services to private and public companies, business owners, high net worth individuals, and family offices across select industry niches. CPA firm looking for highly motivated Billing & Collection Specialist. Please submit your resume. Main Responsibilities Maintain accuracy of client accounts in the CCH Axcess Tax Software Review employee and partner timesheets regularly for accuracy and completion Assist with and review client billing Email and mail bi-monthly invoices Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices weekly Follow-up on client accounts that have non-deliverable addresses. Keep accurate reports on client collection efforts. Background & Skills Must have prior experience working in a professional accounting or law firm. Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite, in particular with Excel, as well as experience using accounting software system Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and follow-through skills, performing work accurately with strong attention to detail Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize a fast-paced and varied workload Associate degree in accounting or finance a plus. 2-4 years related billing and collection experience required.
