In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our tax compliance and reporting functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and providing valuable insights into complex tax issues. Your expertise will help streamline tax processes, enhance accuracy in financial reporting, and contribute to strategic tax planning initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a small firm environment, in which you will be a key team member and not just another number Responsibilities Prepare federal and state, tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Assist with tax planning strategies Conduct tax research Audit support Review client books and records for accuracy and completeness, and assist with closing year end Financial statement preparation, and financial report interpretation Ability to analyze financial data accurately and communicate findings clearly to clients or team members Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or intent to complete in near future is preferred
