Job Description A Tax Searcher with respect to the Property Insight TaxPoint Operations Team, will be responsible for researching property tax data from various websites and making phone calls to tax collectors nationwide. Working with the TaxPoint team to complete tax research and respond to Property Insight's clients. Be able to complete the necessary work using the TaxPoint data application. Conduct research and collect data which will be used to complete and release customer orders in a timely manner. Work closely with colleagues to complete the daily work. Ensure high quality data is collected and integrity of the data that is released to the customers. Conceptualization of data and sharing this knowledge through effective presentation of the data output with the rest of your team. Minimum Skills/Qualifications A Tax Searcher will be responsible for performing data analysis in support of the TaxPoint system. Basic understanding of Property Taxes. Some Title insurance industry knowledge is a plus. The ability to work in a professional office setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Knowledge and ability to write professional emails. Strong written and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Tasks/Projects Day-to-day tasks will be Customer Order driven and priorities will be based on business needs. The following is a list of current tasks and proficiencies that are necessary. Analyze historical and go forward data for input into the TaxPoint application that tracks the various pieces required to be completed before the order can be released. Responding to customer email questions in a timely manner.
